BDS, MDS — Prosthodontist & Oral Implantologist
The hardest part of implant dentistry is not the surgery. It is deciding, before anything begins, exactly where the implant must sit so the tooth above it bites and looks the way it should. That judgement is what a three-year MDS in Prosthodontics is built to train, and it is what Dr. Singh has practised for the past eleven years.
He plans and places every implant himself, then restores it himself — so the fixture and the crown are never two clinicians' compromises. Patients come to Greater Kailash for the work others hesitate over: failing crowns, collapsed bites, full-arch rehabilitation.
Every case leaves the first consultation with a written plan and a written cost.
Find your problem below and see what it usually turns out to need.

A tooth taken out years ago and never replaced. The teeth beside it have been drifting since.
Implants
Throbbing that wakes you usually means the nerve is involved, not just a cavity.
Root canal
A fracture from biting something hard, or an old filling finally giving way.
Crown or veneer
Yellowing from coffee, tea, tobacco or age. Some stains lift, some need covering.
Whitening or veneers
Re-cemented three times already. That is a margin or bite problem, not cement.
Remake the crown
The leading cause of adult tooth loss, and it stays painless until late.
Deep cleaning
Grinding has taken the height out of your bite. This is not a filling case.
Full mouth rehab
Sharp, short pain usually means exposed dentine or decay nearing the nerve.
Filling or RCT
Adhesive every morning, and you still avoid eating in front of people.
Implant dentures
Spacing that has been there since childhood, or opened up as teeth drifted.
Veneers or bonding
Crowding you hide in photographs. Sometimes alignment, sometimes design.
Smile makeover
Decay under an abutment, or a span that was always too long for its support.

A carat is a unit of measurement. Every implant position and every crown margin here is measured digitally before a handpiece touches a tooth.
Almost every case here starts as one of these three questions. Pick the one that sounds like yours.
Veneers are thin ceramic shells bonded over the front of a sound tooth. Because the design is finalised digitally before anything is touched, we shape only a fraction of a millimetre of enamel — nothing like the full crown preparation most patients are bracing for.
Your new smile is drawn over your own 3D scan. You approve shape and shade on screen before a handpiece is picked up.
A whisper of enamel is shaped and temporaries go on the same day, so you never leave with prepared teeth showing.
The shells are bonded, the bite is checked in function, and every margin is polished flush to the gum.
Root canals have a poor reputation in India mostly because of what happens after them — the canal is cleaned well, the tooth is left under a temporary filling for months, and it eventually splits. A root-treated tooth is brittle, so the crown is planned and quoted with the treatment, not sold to you later.
Rotary instrumentation shapes the canal, with radiographs confirming the working length before we seal anything.
The canal is filled and sealed so bacteria cannot re-enter the root — this is the step that decides whether it lasts.
A zirconia or E-max crown carries the chewing load, which is what stops the tooth fracturing a year later.
A veneer covers the front surface. A crown covers the whole tooth. Which one you need is decided by how much sound structure remains — not by preference, and not by what costs more. If a simple filling will do the job, we will tell you that instead of selling you either.
A clear photo of the smile, or a recent X-ray on WhatsApp, is usually enough for an initial opinion.
Dr. Singh tells you which treatment the tooth actually needs, and roughly what it costs, before you travel.
You leave the consultation with the plan in writing. Nothing starts until you say so.
The same technology that shortens your treatment is what makes it fit accurately.

Replaces the putty tray. A wand captures your teeth in 3D in minutes and the lab works from that file.

Your new smile is drawn over your own scans, so shape and proportion are agreed before we start.

Instant on-screen imaging at a fraction of film radiation, so you see exactly what we see.

Margins read to a fraction of a millimetre — why scanned crowns seat without repeated grinding.

A separate operatory run to surgical protocol, with an assisting team rather than one operator alone.

One patient per room, doors closed. No shared bays, no one overhearing your consultation.

Cases completed at Carat Smiles, Greater Kailash 1.

Every case starts as a 3D plan — bone, nerve and final crown decided before the first incision.
A bridge means cutting down two healthy teeth either side of the gap. An implant does not touch them.
Two or three implants can carry a fixed bridge across a longer span, so the teeth stay in the mouth.
For patients who have lost most of a jaw, or live with a lower denture that will not stay in place.
Severe wear, failing crowns or a collapsed bite height, rebuilt to one plan. Core prosthodontics.

Real treatment days, digital scanning and finished smiles from our Greater Kailash studio.

What patients in Greater Kailash ask us most about implants, cost and timelines.
Implant cost depends on three things: the implant system used, whether bone grafting is needed, and the crown material on top. Because those vary case to case, we do not publish a single figure — you get a written cost for your specific case at the end of the first consultation, before any treatment starts. Send a recent X-ray on WhatsApp and we can give you a realistic range before you travel.
Placement is done under local anaesthesia and most patients report it as easier than an extraction. Expect mild soreness and some swelling for two to three days, managed with routine painkillers. Nearly everyone returns to work the next day.
Usually three to four months from placement to final crown. The implant needs that time to integrate with the bone, and that healing period is what makes it last decades. You are not left with a visible gap — a temporary tooth is provided wherever the gap shows.
A prosthodontist has completed an additional three-year MDS specialisation in replacing and rebuilding teeth — crowns, bridges, dentures, implant restorations and full mouth rehabilitation. For a filling or a cleaning either will do. For implants, failing crowns, a collapsed bite or a full-mouth case, the specialist training is what changes the outcome.
Yes — that is what All-on-4 and All-on-6 are for. Four to six implants are angled to use your available bone and a complete fixed arch is secured onto them. They do not come out at night, and in many cases the angulation avoids bone grafting altogether.
Most teeth, yes. Single-sitting RCT is possible when there is no active infection draining from the tooth. If there is, we treat the infection first — rushing that stage is the main reason root canals fail later. Every root canal here is quoted together with the crown that must follow it.
Typically three to four visits over two to three weeks for a veneer case: consultation and scanning, digital design approval, preparation with temporaries, then fitting. You approve the shape and shade on screen before any tooth is touched.
We keep slots free each day for pain and trauma cases. Call +91 99535 56677 — if we can see you the same day we will say so straight away rather than booking you in for next week.
The clinic is on the first floor at R-278, Block R, Greater Kailash I. Patients come from GK-1 and GK-2, Kailash Colony, East of Kailash, Lajpat Nagar, Malviya Nagar, Nehru Place, Kalkaji, Alaknanda, Shahpur Jat, Siri Fort, Sadiq Nagar, Hemkunt Colony, Govind Puri and Pushp Vihar.
Larger cases such as full mouth rehabilitation and All-on-4 are staged, so payment follows the treatment stages rather than falling due all at once. Ask at your consultation and we will lay the schedule out alongside the plan.
Send an X-ray or a photo on WhatsApp. Dr. Singh will tell you what is realistic before you come in.
